HR Governance & Operations Specialist — Lisbon

Adecco is seeking an Interim HR Governance & Operations Specialist to support a prominent international organization during a dynamic period of change and expansion. Your primary responsibilities will include: redesigning and refining HR processes to meet governance requirements, promoting standardization and robust control mechanisms, developing and overseeing payroll controls, strengthening employee relations protocols, identifying risks and implementing proactive measures, and contributing to a more strategic and scalable HR function. To excel in this role, you should have at least 4 years of experience in HR operations, governance, or audit/control, a strong focus on process improvement, solid knowledge of labor law and payroll, and excellent organizational skills. Experience in international settings is advantageous. We offer a contract with Adecco covering a maternity leave replacement from July 2026 to March 2027, a competitive salary of €2,000–€2,800, hybrid work arrangements, and the chance to work on international projects and adopt global best practices.
