English-speaking General Ledger Accountant – Medical Equipment

Responsabilidades: - Support month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. - Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting adjustments per company policies and accounting standards. - Maintain and monitor General Ledger accounts to ensure completeness and integrity of financial data. - Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain ledger accuracy. - Support intercompany accounting activities, including reconciliations and resolution of outstanding balances across multiple entities. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders across different countries and business units to ensure compliance with accounting processes and reporting requirements. - Support audit requests and provide documentation for internal and external audits. - Assist with payroll-related accounting activities, onboarding processes, and entity management tasks when required. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Record-to-Report (R2R) process. - Provide backup support for Accounts Payable activities, including payment processing, vendor-related queries, and bank-related tasks when necessary. Perfil pretendido: - Academic background in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. - Fluent in English (written and spoken at C1/C2 level). - Previous experience in General Ledger accounting, Record-to-Report (R2R), or Financial Accounting roles. - Experience working in international environments, supporting multiple countries, entities, or legal structures. - Hands-on experience with accruals, journal entries, prepayments, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls. - Exposure to Accounts Payable processes, payments, and banking activities, with the ability to provide operational backup support when required. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. - If you don't meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply; we'll try to match you with the right role.
