Databricks Data Engineer — Remote (Portugal)

This role is part of a global technology consulting firm that partners with a major banking and financial services group. The position is fully remote within Portugal and offers a full-time contract with a leading consultancy. You will join a long-term initiative focused on data and cloud modernization, with Databricks as the core platform. Your work will support large-scale financial systems used internationally, ensuring high-quality data products and scalable architectures. Responsibilities: - Design and maintain end-to-end pipelines using Databricks. - Implement Medallion Architecture patterns. - Build distributed data processing solutions with PySpark. - Create and manage workflows with ADF and Airflow. - Integrate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. - Work closely with data scientists and solution architects. - Ensure data governance and security standards are met. Perfil pretendido: - Proven expertise in Databricks, Medallion Architecture, and PySpark. - Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Airflow, and Azure DevOps CI/CD. - Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
