Clinical Director (Part-Time) for IV Infusion Services — Almancil

Vida Pura, a modern medical wellness clinic located in Almancil, Algarve, is seeking a qualified and conscientious Clinical Director to provide medical oversight for our IV infusion services on a part-time, flexible basis. Founded and run by two sisters passionate about health and wellbeing, our clinic offers innovative wellness technologies and personalized treatments, including IV vitamin infusions, red light therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and AI massage therapy. This role is ideal for a doctor interested in preventative medicine, medical wellness, and individualized healthcare approaches. Responsibilities: - Review and medically screen clients before IV infusion treatments, considering their medical history, current medications, allergies, contraindications, and other relevant clinical information. - Determine each client's medical suitability for IV vitamin infusions and, when appropriate, approve and prescribe treatments based on professional clinical judgment. - Maintain proper clinical documentation, ensure patient confidentiality, and uphold high standards of professional medical practice. - Provide medical guidance to the Vida Pura team regarding IV treatments and patient safety. Perfil pretendido: - Qualified medical doctor with appropriate registration and legal ability to practice medicine in Portugal. - Strong clinical judgment and a professional, responsible, and thorough approach to medical screening and prescribing. - Excellent communication skills and proficiency in both Portuguese and English. - Interest in preventative medicine, medical wellness, longevity, or personalized healthcare is an advantage. - Previous experience with IV vitamin infusions or IV therapy is preferred but not essential. - Knowledge of vitamins, minerals, micronutrients, and their clinical applications is beneficial. - Curiosity about the growing field of medical wellness and willingness to familiarize with Vida Pura's treatment protocols.
