Machine Operator Assistant — Brussels Area

Our client, a reputable Belgian firm based near Brussels, focuses on producing non-woven cleaning cloths. The work environment is practical, with manually operated machines, and prioritizes quality, safety, and ongoing improvement. Staff have access to training through internal programs and external providers, such as COBOT, the textile sector's training center. Responsibilities: - Help the team leader run the non-woven production lines. - Support process adjustments and ensure smooth operations. - Conduct quality inspections on final products. - Use a forklift to deliver raw materials to the lines. - Move finished rolls or bales to the designated storage area. - Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping to keep the workplace safe and tidy. Profile: - Strong technical and operational abilities. - Practical, dependable work ethic. - Focus on cleanliness, order, and safety. - Capable of working independently and showing initiative. - Flexible with good organizational skills. - Proficient in English. Offer: - Training via internal and external courses, in partnership with COBOT. - Hourly wage starting at €16.4–€18.3. - Two rotating shifts: 05:00–13:15 and 13:15–21:30. - 40-hour work week. - 11 compensatory days, 20 annual leave days, and 4 sector-specific days off (full-time basis).
