We are seeking a Regional Compliance Lead to oversee and advance our regional compliance and governance structures, ensuring they meet corporate standards and regulatory expectations. You will advise senior management on compliance risks, mitigation strategies, and control best practices. Your duties include performing risk assessments in operational and financial areas, identifying weaknesses, and proposing effective solutions. You will lead the development and monitoring of internal controls to foster business growth and operational efficiency. Coordinating both internal and external audits will be part of your role, including managing documentation and stakeholder interactions and ensuring audit findings are addressed. You will also track the implementation of corrective actions to resolve compliance gaps. Creating, updating, and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure consistency across all locations will be your responsibility, as will monitoring regulatory changes and their effects on our operations. Supporting data protection initiatives by working with various functions to protect sensitive data is expected. You will contribute to business transformation projects, system rollouts, and process transitions, embedding controls from start to finish. Promoting automation and digital tools to enhance transparency and efficiency is key alert. Additionally, you will cultivate a culture of ethics, responsibility, and ongoing improvement throughout the organization. Ideal Profile: A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field is required. Professional certifications like CIA, CPA, CISA, ACCA, or equivalent are an added advantage. Extensive experience in compliance, internal auditing, risk, governance, or finance operations in an international setting is essential. Strong familiarity with internal control frameworks, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance principles is expected. Proven capability in managing audits, risk assessments, and control enhancements is necessary. You should have the ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships in complex matrix structures. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required. Experience with transformation projects, process improvements, or shared services is highly favored. Superior communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills are critical. High ethical standards, integrity, and meticulousness are non-negotiable. Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in other languages is beneficial.
