Platform Engineering Role — Lisbon Tech Hub

In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive development environment leveraging GenAI-powered coding assistants and supporting best practices across the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and manage a modern platform integrating code management, workflow orchestration, and CI/CD to support development teams and promote software craftsmanship. - Encourage adoption of industry standards for specification writing, testing, documentation, and maintainability. - Collaborate with developers, infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity experts, and risk managers to keep the platform secure and adaptable. - Provide access to advanced AI-powered coding assistants to complement platform capabilities. - Perform infrastructure engineering tasks: developing, improving, and maintaining the platform using Go, Python, Terraform, and GitHub Actions & workflows. Requirements: - Solid IT engineering background (e.g., software engineer, DevOps). - Proficiency in software craftsmanship, programming, and DevOps practices. - Experience with cloud systems (Azure or AWS) and infrastructure-as-code. - Knowledge of architecture topics: integration, security, network, IAM. - Experience with AI assistant programming and conversational coding. - Strong team player with communication skills. - Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.
