Senior Data & Analytics Engineer — Hospitality Sector (M/F/D)

You will be part of a well-established international group in the hospitality and leisure sector, known for its strong market presence and commitment to digital transformation. As a Data Engineer / Analytics Specialist, you will bridge business needs with technical data solutions, designing and maintaining robust data infrastructures to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and optimised for analytics. You will also support reporting and visualisation initiatives that drive strategic and operational decisions. Responsabilidades: - Partner with business units to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions; - Build and maintain efficient data pipelines and architectures for analytics; - Develop and manage data models, databases, and data warehouse environments; - Enhance performance, scalability, and reliability of existing data platforms; - Ensure strong data governance, quality, and security practices; - Design and deliver insightful dashboards and reports using Power BI; - Provide mentorship and technical support to team members; - Stay updated on evolving technologies in data engineering and business intelligence. Perfil pretendido: - Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or Information Management; - Solid analytical thinking with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability; - Excellent communication skills, with experience working closely with business stakeholders; - Proven experience in data-focused roles such as Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Analytics Engineer; - Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases; - Hands-on experience with ETL, data modelling, and data warehousing; - Good understanding of data governance and information security best practices; - Experience with Power BI; - Knowledge of Python, Java, or Scala (advantageous); - Exposure to Microsoft Azure; familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
