Supervisor of Laundry Services

Ensure quality standards by inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after housekeeping. Review sold room reports, check room status, identify discrepancies, prioritize cleaning, and update departing room status. Assist management in daily operations and coordinate between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Resolve room discrepancies with the Front Desk and distribute room assignment changes. Communicate issues to the next shift and complete required documentation. Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching staff. Adhere to company policies and safety procedures; report maintenance issues, hazards, or injuries; complete safety training. Maintain a professional appearance, confidentiality, and protect company assets. Welcome guests per company standards, anticipate their needs, assist those with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation. Communicate clearly and professionally. Build positive relationships, listen to concerns, and respond appropriately. Meet quality expectations. Lift and carry up to 55 pounds independently or heavier with assistance. Push/pull loaded carts over slopes and uneven surfaces. Perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, stooping, reaching overhead and below knees. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for entire shifts. Manipulate objects of various sizes and weights with fine motor skills. Use computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and locate information. Read and verify details in small print. Perform other duties as assigned.
