Fund Data Flow Operations Manager

A global banking group's international financial institution is expanding its Lisbon operations hub. As Head of Fund Data Flow Management, you will lead a team responsible for accurate and efficient handling of fund data flows, driving continuous improvement and supporting business expansion. Your duties encompass team leadership and operational oversight to optimize processes and maintain high service quality for international stakeholders. Responsibilities: - Manage the Data Flow Team daily, including workload supervision, prioritization, and team development. - Ensure timely and accurate receipt, analysis, and distribution of correspondence from Fund Administrators and Transfer Agents. - Coordinate efficient electronic dissemination of information to operational teams. - Oversee accurate data extraction from documentation to support downstream processing and automation. - Collaborate with internal departments to prioritize critical activities. - Drive process optimization by reviewing communication channels, data flows, and system functionalities. - Lead and contribute to projects affecting processes, systems, and team scope. - Maintain strong operational controls, risk awareness, and service quality. - Act as primary contact between local teams and international stakeholders. - Foster a collaborative, proactive, and client-oriented team culture. Profile: - Minimum 5 years in banking operations or fund administration, with at least 2 in a managerial role in an international setting. - Deep understanding of fund administration, custody operations, or transfer agency workflows. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of managing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Proven leadership and people management abilities. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - High organization, accountability, and decision-making capacity. - Proactive, solution-oriented, and autonomous mindset. - Experience with operational data flows, document management systems, or process optimization is a plus. - Knowledge of data management, machine learning, or AI-based processing is advantageous. - Fluent English; French is a plus.
